Sumou Holding has partnered with the Jeddah Development and Urban Regeneration Company (JDURC) in a public-private partnership (PPP) model to form Dhahiat Murooj Jeddah Company. The limited liability concern has been tasked with developing 132 square kilometres of the landmark Murooj Jeddah Project. Dhahiat Murooj Jeddah has been allocated SAR 2,200 billion in capital, and is laying the infrastructure for 127 superblocks within Murooj Jeddah at a cost of over SAR 6,400 million. Murooj Jeddah is a state of the art satellite city being developed to extend Jeddah.
