In support of entrepreneurs in the field of information technology, Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the global business incubator (DAAL), a Saudi-based business incubator dedicated to investing in the field of entrepreneurship. This is to support Jordanian entrepreneurs and provide investment opportunities for emerging projects in the IT sector.
Under this agreement, a joint initiative will be launched between ZINC and DAAL through a competition to be held at ZINC, through which entrepreneurs and project owners in the IT sector will be allowed to present their projects to obtain real investment opportunities. This is subject to that such projects shall be already existing and operating in the IT sector, within the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, e-commerce, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), financial technology, internet of things (IOT) or digital gaming.
The agreement comes from ZINC as part of its commitment to support the Jordanian entrepreneurial sector as well as entrepreneurs through concluding partnerships with various stakeholders to provide all the necessary financial support, advice and real opportunities to link them with specialists and empower their projects.
It is noted that DAAL is a global business incubator that aims to support emerging and entrepreneurial IT projects by accelerating the growth of these projects and achieving success by optimizing resources, ideas and guidance. This is to help the next generation of digital entrepreneurs, which can prove itself through the myriad of opportunities offered by the digital world, create tomorrow’s ideas. The headquarters of DAAL is in Saudi Arabia. It has also worked in Jordan and Egypt, and soon in other countries in the region and the world.
